Essentials oils help relax your mind and rejuvenate your spirit. This property is extracted from roots, wood, resins, berries, flowers, leaves or herbs. Essential oils are readily absorbed into the bloodstream; they have a direct effect on the brain. The aroma also interacts with your body’s chemistry, making them effective in alleviating the body and re-energizes you.
Commercial oils are processed and made through distillation and can be too extravagant to purchase. There are ways which you can do to make your own essential oils, for example, by just adding bruised flowers or plants to base oil and steeping to retract the scent. However, this will not be as concentrated as a commercial essential oil but the product will give you a soothing and well worth effect. Here are the methods you can follow in order to know how to use fragrance oils to refresh your mind and mood:
1. You must use jasmine, chamomile, marjoram, rose, palmarosa, rosemary or ylang-ylang essential oils to lighten anger. You have to put 30 to 40 drops of the selected essential oil into 4 ounces of distilled water. Then, spray bottle and shake well. Use it as an all-over body spritzer.
2. You must blend 30 drops lemongrass, 30 drops ylang-ylang, 30 drops Melissa, 20 drops benzoin, 20 drops cumin essential oil and 20 drops cloveinto 4 fluid ounces (120 ml) of distilled water to lift up your mood. Then, put the essential oils into a spray bottle. Shake it well and spray over your head about 10 times. With every 2 or 3 sprays, stop and inhale deeply. You must assure to close your eyes to avoid any eye irritation while spraying.
3. Mix the 2 drops of rose, 2 drops jasmine and 5 drops frankincense essential oils with 1/2 tablespoon (71/2 ml) jojoba oil to evenselfish behavior, emotional insecurity, aggression, depression and fear. Put it in a dark bottle and shake well, then apply a few drops of the mixed essential oils to the base of your spine.
4. To make a passionate and sensual aroma, you must use 20 drops cinnamon, 60 drops patchouli, 40 drops myrrh, 1 teaspoon bois de rose, 40 drops clove, 40 drops rose essential oils combined with 60 ml carrier oil such as jojoba or grapeseed oil. Then, mix the essential oils with the carrier oil in a 120 ml (4 ounce) dark glass bottle. Shake well. To apply the oil or other aromatherapy supplies, put a few drops on the torso,lower back or inner thigh area. Keep it away from your genital area or around the eyes because the cinnamon essential oil has a sting effect.
